This two-year Ontario College Diploma provides students with the managerial concepts (intrapreneurial) and ownership (entrepreneurial) principles required for a successful future in a small to medium-sized enterprise. In these courses, you’ll learn tough and ethical decision making within the constraints that business leaders grapple with on a daily basis — finances, personnel, technology, competition, and government regulations. If you wish to transfer your degree studies from another UK higher education institution, you will be considered on the basis of your original A-Level or equivalent qualifications, current syllabus, academic references and results. These reports combine the last three years of available results for the 2013-2015 BCIT Outcomes Surveys of 2012-2014 graduates and for Degree 2010-2012 graduates. Students wanting to pursue this Major will have to take the majority of the required courses during the day.
Subject to the policy of the programme, it may be possible for students to join undergraduate degree programmes at the beginning of the second year of a three or four year degree programme or, sometimes, the beginning of the third year of a four year programme. This course will equip you with the key business skills and knowledge needed to succeed in multinational organisations. The dissertation allows you to explore a business-related issue that interests you, and the consultancy project involves working with a business client, researching their organisation and presenting recommendations to improve their business.
Purpose: The purpose of the module is to interpret and apply health and safety related legal requirements as well as health and safety management system requirements in an explosives environment. This course provides an understanding of computer terminology, operating systems, and the most popular office software used in business. Learn from a wide range of courses, including accounting, finance, marketing, operations, management and leadership, law and ethics, HR and business intelligence.
