Get a global perspective on finance, marketing, operations, economics, and strategy with a new kind of Masters degree. In the first and second years of the BSc International Business degree you will study four compulsory modules in business, economics and accounting in each year. You will also have access to our extensive range of employability events, including workshops, expert business speakers – e.g. members of our Advisory Board – and employer exhibitions. You will also have the opportunity to learn from award-winning faculty with extensive expertise in international business and to interact with industry professionals to maximize your learning experience.
The Master of Science International Business programme is a three-semester programme with 90 CP (ECTS). The first phase was his dissertation in 1960 called the International Operations of National Firms. They further develop their ability to apply quantitative and qualitative analytical methods to business related studies. College degrees are highly valued by other countries, so as you make international contacts, having a degree to add to your name is very important. These partnerships allow them to apply credits earned at Centennial College towards further study.
You will need to apply by 1 July in your first year at UC. (Note: some applications are as early as 31 May.) All the generalist courses are given within a multicultural approach and incorporate an international dimension. Nottingham Business School has links with a wide range of sectors, firms and organisations that offer student placements.
International trade theory and policy in general equilibrium; relative costs, factor proportions, imperfect competition and the pattern of trade; efficiency and distribution. Students may select additional courses as electives including Foreign EU Policies and IB Practices, Direct Investment and Multinational Enterprises and International Human Resource Management. Our Business Administration Division has a full-time faculty member serving as an internship coordinator for our students. The Darla Moore School of Business offers a master’s degree in international business as well as an International MBA program and dual degree program with the School of Law.
You may enjoy joining our Business Society which arranges an event calendar, annual ball and career presentations from institutions such as the Government Economic Service, Scottish Executive, Bank of England etc. You’ll find academic and professional staff involved in the delivery of your BSc International Business degree here at Birmingham located in University House. As part of the International Business MSc degree, students have the option of enrolling on the internship programme. This includes volunteering, studying abroad, internships, placements, international summer schools and many more.
