By reducing communication barriers, Malta is a key player in attracting foreign direct investment or exporting technology skills abroad. It all started 20+ years ago by investors recognizing the need to meet with companies from different countries in Europe. The first tech tours were organized by volunteers – imagine 40 investors getting together on a bus and travelling for 3 days across Switzerland to meet companies.
Our socio-cultural, linguistic, scientific, environmental, economic and territorial diversity, increases the effect of our concrete, bottom-up approach to support our regions, countries, and Europe.
