International Business Course
Pollution is an undesirable change in the physical, chemical, or biological characteristics of the air , water or land that can harmfully affect the health, survival, or activities of humans or other living organisms. At Nottingham Business School we have recognised that demand early with our International Business course, which develops outstanding graduates well-equipped to influence and make significant contributions to international business and management. During your time at the Business School you will experience teaching through a mixture of lectures and tutorials.
Business graduates are employed across a broad range of professions, including investment, accountancy, sales, marketing, stockbroking, foreign currency dealing and management consultancy. We follow the Arcada Business School-concept, which means that our students in Business Administration and International Business (In English) co-operate actively during their studies. They also welcome incoming exchange students which creates a vibrant, multicultural hub, offering a different perspective on life and business.
In addition, Leeds University Business School students also have full access to the University Careers Centre and Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Studies Leeds for Life is our unique approach to helping you make the most of University by supporting your academic and personal development. This upholds Van Horne’s (1974) assertion that even at the risk of not maximising shareholder wealth in the short term, management of business firms ought not to ignore the need for ‘social responsibility’ which brings long term benefits although perhaps not immediately apparent.
Gain a BEng qualification while working towards Chartered Engineer status with the Building Services Engineering degree. After gaining valuable work experience, students will also be well prepared to enter one of the many graduate programs in international business and possibly go on to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level. You’ll also learn how to conduct business on a global scale and see how it differs from domestic ventures.
You will spend Year 3 abroad at a partner university, completing and passing a full year’s diet of examinable subjects (equivalent to 120 credits), the majority of which will be in Business. Explore complex global problems and business cases that force you to examine and define your values related to corporate ethics, corporate governance and social responsibility.
